Michelle Dunaways' Professional Set
A selection of beautiful brushes hand picked by artist Michelle Dunaway.
My Professional Set is the full variety of Rosemary and Co brushes that I use every day in the studio. This set contains a full range of soft natural hair and larger synthetics that create a variety of techniques. Each brush in my set creates a different effect in the painting. The Masters Choice is excellent for initial thin brush work, and finishing strokes layered upon existing paint. The Ivory and Evergreen’s are excellent for laying on thick passages of paint, whilst making a clean, defined stroke. The Series 77 short flat sables create a soft, yet defined stroke that I find excellent for portraiture; specifically when making subtle transitions within the form. The Eclipse Xtra Long Combers make very precise, calligraphic strokes and because of the tapered and staggered edge that Rosemary intentionally creates in the brush, it enables me create an organic and varied edge.
