The Ivory is synthetic bristle at its best, a cross between the feel of nylon and hog bristle. The longer hair results in a loose brush with little "snap".

The Long Flats (also known in America as Flats) allow for a longer, looser stroke. They have a sharp edge and allow you to fully load your brush. They carry a lot of paint, and the longer length of hair should mean you don't need to load paint right to the end of the base (the ferrule). The Ivory range are 100% Synthetic and Vegan Friendly. A favourite for Oils & Acrylics, also for gouache.
