Vladislav Yeliseyev - Plein Air in Staithes June 2020
By popular demand, we are heading back to Yorkshire's beautiful East Coast from the 1st-5th of June 2020 with the internationally re-knowned watercolourist, Vladislav Yeliseyev.
Though Yeliseyev is known widely for his watercolours, he is also a professional Oil painter and is happy to teach students of all capabilities in either watercolour or oils.
The workshop will consist of 5 days, outdoors in both Staithes and neighbouring village, Runswick Bay. Transport is not essential for this workshop as I know we will have people who sign up and are willing to share a lift.
The workshop fee includes:
- Breakfast will be provided each morning at the main building (Smugglers Lodge). This will consist of eggs, bread, milk, yogurts and fruit. You will need to make your own breakfasts and tea/coffee - but the ingredients will be provided for each day.
- One evening meal is included in the workshop fee which will be prepared for us on the last night of the workshop. Again, there will be an additional fee for partners.
- The first evening we will have welcome snacks and a glass of wine. The third evening will be a demonstration evening (location will be confirmed during the workshop by Vlad), of which nibbles and wine is provided.
*I have accomodation for you! It costs £300 for 6 nights - let me know when you sign up and I will get you a room reserved!
The workshop will start at 9am each morning and finish at 5pm. We will break for a 1 hour lunch. During this time, we ask that Vlad is left to his own devices unless he chooses so he can prepare for the afternoon with you all.
Travelling to and from the airport:
Travelling from Europe - Your nearest airports are Leeds/Bradford or Doncaster. From there, you can get the train to Saltburn on Sea and a taxi from there. Please contact me before booking to ensure you're getting the best deal and the smoothest transfer.
Travelling from outside Europe - Your nearest international airport is Manchester. Do not fly into London to come straight to Staithes, unless you plan on site-seeing for a few days before or after. From Manchester you can get the train to Leeds and connect there to Saltburn on Sea. Please contact me before booking your flights and trains, so I can help you. Alternatively, you can get a taxi. It takes around 2hours.
I'm really excited to get back to this dreamy village, it really is a painters paradise! I hope you can join us!

*I have removed the accomodation from the price. You can arrange your own accomodation if you wish or I have the perfect place for us all to stay!
