My name is Jay Stieler, founder and principal artist of Coast Art House. I have lived and practiced art on the Central Coast of California for most of my life. The unspoiled beauty of the area has always been what inspires me the most. I find painting with watercolors especially challenging and rewarding. The demanding timing and unpredictable nature of this medium is a constant source of wonder, but most exciting are the unplanned results that contribute to each piece’s unique story.
