"My Rosemary brushes allow me to do the necessary "pushing around" of paint on a canvas in a way that suits me perfectly! The Ultimate Bristle Long Flats are my first go-to brushes. My underpainting/wash goes down on the blank canvas with these flats followed by the laying on of shapes.

It is common to then move to the Masters Choice Long Flats for drawing. Wow is all I can say! I wouldn't be able to draw a tree without them! They offer a feathery, soft-touch which is perfect for making my calligraphy marks! I love how they make my strokes both broken and airy!! The Ivory Daggers are also great for drawing but the angled edge allows for a greater load of paint resulting in thicker marks.... making the dagger very versatile! I use the Ultimate Filbert #5 to lay in skies on my landscape paintings. It leaves of a modeled surface... kind of like a dance on the canvas. And the blender? Well, Everyone needs one!" Kathie Odom
